Mr. Reed has over 30 years of experience in the health care industry developing, funding and managing health care service businesses. He started his career with Merrill Lynch in the late 60’s, where he founded their health industry financing group which specialized in providing funding to hospitals. In 1982 Mr. Reed founded American Health Capital, Inc. in partnership with Voluntary Hospitals of America (VHA, the nations' largest not for profit hospital group), the Mellon Bank, Aetna and Baxter where he pioneered the development of financial guarantees for hospitals through the Health Industry Bond Insurance Program. Mr. Reed was the founder and CEO of VHA Enterprises where he oversaw the development and management of numerous health care service businesses including Partners National Health Plans, a managed care joint venture with Aetna, as well as companies involved with home health care, nursing homes, retirement center development and management, mobile diagnostics, and physician services. Mr. Reed also founded the National Committee for Quality Health Care and was a founding trustee of the Healthcare Leadership Council.
Donald J. DiPasco, M.D. – Medical Director – Mobile Physician Services
Dr. DiPasco is responsible for overseeing that the medical direction and management of our mobile physician team. As a mobile physician, Dr. DiPasco provides medical care services to patients in their homes, and has over 25 years of experience serving adult and geriatric patients as a practicing Internist. Dr. DiPasco served as Chief of Staff and a Board Member of St. Joseph Hospital in St. Louis, and as the chairperson of the Quality Assurance Committee at St. Joseph Hospital and Incarnate Word Hospital in St. Louis. Dr. DiPasco has also served on the Board of SSM Medical Group, a large Midwestern physician group of internists, family practitioners, and obstetricians/gynecologists. SSM Health Care is a multi-state health provider that was recently the first health system to receive the National Malcolm Baldridge Quality Assurance Award. After completing his internship at Mercy Hospital, a University of Illinois affiliate in Chicago, and an Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary’s Hospital, an affiliate of St. Louis University, Dr. DiPasco began private practice and established internal medicine clinics in both St. Louis City and County. Dr. DiPasco is a member of the Florida Medical Association and the Collier County Medical Society. Robert W. Taylor – Chief Financial Officer He brings to the position over 25 years of senior level experience providing financial and accounting services to health care service companies. After beginning his career with Merrill Lynch & Company, Mr. Taylor served as Vice President and Controller for subsidiary operations of VHA Enterprises, Inc. |
